recycled food containers for crafting

This post isn’t about shipping container homes (although they’re really cool).

It’s about home as a place that contains you, and the people you may live with.

Above is a photo of some used plastic food containers that I save for crafting. There’s also one of the many packs of crayons that I use in my visual art. I love the idea of this crayon container holding all sorts of creative potential. I can’t imagine the pictures that I will someday make with these crayons. But until I need them, they’re kept here.

Home is a place that contains me safely, until I am used by life.
